Plus my thoughts on design, psychology, and life philosophy. Oh hey, you want to know about me? Hmmm let me think _>.<_ Started my internet journey in 2016 (born in 2006), Starting with Luckypatcher to spending hours on Unity to later freelancing in Wordpress and Ghost.org Community. Spending time on Reddit and since then I’ve been chronically online and building web applications. Worked at a Czech company [Zerops](https://zerops.io) for an year as an intern who did almost everything from _Programming → Design → Dev Rel → Customer Support_, and after contemplating for a while, I decided to be an Indie Hacker. I’m the type of guy who’s always online with a response rate of 2-3s **ONLY IF I’M ONLINE** 🌾 Born in Haryana, Spent majority of my life in Delhi, India. I was a chaotic kid in my middle school, Used to yap to everyone specifically the guy who had a problem of answering questions with too much context even though that part was not a part of our grade. 7th grade was the best year of my life. In Covid, I didn’t get enough validation from my teachers so ended up spending a lot more time on the internet. Then after some money came in, Academics felt pointless and I pivoted. I was a kid with the worst handwriting, worst at drawings, worst at singing, worst at dancing, worst at musical instruments but i was good at computers and sports(ego reasons maybe). Well there was a girl who used to listen to my yaps in 7th grade but that’s a different story for another day T-T. > I don’t really idolize people but I really respect the words/creations of [Sahil Lavingia](https://sahillavingia.com), [Yasser Elsaid](https://x.com/yasser_elsaid_), [Albert Camus](https://www.britannica.com/biography/Albert-Camus), [Osho](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rajneesh), [Edward Bernays](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Bernays), [Sigmund Freud](https://www.britannica.com/biography/Sigmund-Freud), [Charles Darwin](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Darwin), [David Goggins](https://x.com/davidgoggins), [Hampton](https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLMT0RP3XaJSNwaGFf7OD43Pw5fjPOxa3_\&si=Z7Ny7dWMCPN0aweh), and many more. Having no strings attached and i believe in bootstrapping I love spending time just converting files from one format to another and my favorite site from inspiration are [SaasLandingPage](http://saaslandingpage.com), [DeadSimpleSites](https://deadsimplesites.com), [Vercel Templates](https://vercel.com/templates), [Astro Templates](https://astro.build/themes/1/), and [Dribbble](https://dribbble.com). Also very random but Exploitation pays more _coughs how llms are trained_ _how apollo scrapes_ but then it’s normalized. Personally I’d put myself as a person who can do everything to create an impact, My source of happiness is helping non technical people interact with internet better. ### My Personality Traits I love it simple and I love to be very straightforward - everything can be simplified. > “It’s so simple to be happy but so difficult to be simple” - Rabindranath Tagore Materialism is a mere part of my life, Which helps me to connect with people who value it over thoughts and I’m lucky to have these resources as it opens so many doors. I like optimizating and oversimplifying things to people to the point where anyone can understand it, Sometimes people find me weird as if i’m high on drugs. The most difficult part for me is selling myself than my own product, specifically when it comes to interviews where i’m supposed to explain my self _there’s no self_. This is one of the reasons why I started this website so that I can express myself as Selling products is comparatively easier than explaining the self. - **Work Life**: Work more is basically doing enough to sustain my validation and financial jar, This whole internet industry is my passion after normal human behavior(going out, working out, eating, sleeping, etc.) and I’m not a person who’s afraid of work but it should have a purpose. I’m not biased towards my ideas but I do tend to show multiple iterations of my ideas / prototypes because I really want to try my best. > As Fyodor says “Deprived of meaningful work, men and women lose their reason for existence; they go stark, raving mad” If you’re feeling burnt out You’re more likely deficient in: 1. Nutrients in your Blood 1. Sleep 1. Exercise 1. Social Interaction 1. Small Wins 1. Meaningful Work (Too much repetition is also bad for your brain) 1. Autonomy 1. Caffeine Abuse 1. Lack of journaling If you’re missing out on anything above, regardless of your gender you’re very likely to fall into depression.   - **Product Perspective**: Design is the most important part of a product, Simple & Straightforward User flow. We should really consider the target potential customers as demographics matter even colorblind people. Watch [Phoebe Yu](https://www.youtube.com/@phoebeyutbt) videos as she explains how design differs around the world. Also I have a really big complaint about customer support by companies, How they don’t hire people around the world for 24/7 customer support. Connection Matters a Lot. - **Life Perspective**: I’m in love with myself more than anyone and everyone should feel the same about themselves. I can behave my own way without considering my public perception with a straightforward and sometimes being called a insensitive person. Being Delusional is a good thing. I love to go all in if the work seems worthy and I’m too lazy to buy my own clothes, online shopping hurts my brain. Or maybe it’s not my current priority. That’s one of the same reasons why I don’t plan going to college. - **Daily Barriers**: I have ADHD, Dysgraphia and Color Blindness(Deutranopia). - **Hobbies**: Yapping in a VC, Walking topless in Sun, Running, Cooking, and Helping people for free. - **Interests**: Softwares, Designing, Biology, Finance, Psychology, Evolution, Human Behavior, and Philosophy. I love using spiral notebooks. whenever I have a thought, I jot it down. Also pretty random but I have sucha bad handwriting which is unreadable somehow, I was slapped 4 times in school just for having bad handwriting. Writing your thoughts help you to think better and I’m a person who’s always thinking about something. Currently building some Micro Products and bootstrapping a Startup. Plus, My current goal is to travel around the world + have an office in San Francisco with Thinkers & Designers. Always open to chats and coffee. I clearly mentioned I’d work everyday without any leave and 10hrs everyday and 4-5 hours to [Coldran](https://coldran.com).   The last call we had also included their COO(bro was condescending af) and that ruined the whole aura of that CEO. Personally that guy would ruin the whole fugging company.   They clearly mentioned that they want a serious person but i was being serious but they mentioned a guy ripped them off because he wanted a pocket money. BUT GOD!   THE CEO & COO Talk with me Happened with me from 11 pm - 2 am, then went on a walk with my Father. They mentioned they’ll figure out what they can pay me asap (i’ve already sent them my required compensation btw)   I get a text at 1 pm and then i get on a call with the ceo and they mentioned they’ll pay me $803/month instead of $1,722/month which i asked.   He mentioned I can reply whenever I want today and my self esteem didn’t let me take it because it was clearly underpaid for a full time job with the whole team management. I texted him on Whatsapp and I mention that I’m not interested in negotiating or even accepting the offer.   He tries to negotiate says he can go $1.2k per month max but I said no again. But my ethics say if someone undervalues you, YOU NEVER TALK TO THEM OR DO WORK WITH THEM AND YOU CAN NEVER PROVE ANYTHING TO THEM.   He insists on calling me again and again for 3 times then he calls me at 10pm, I BLOCK HIM.   Next Day, His COO calls me. I BLOCK HIM TOO.   moral of this is never do this unless you don’t plan on doing a job in Bangalore, Because words get around but i don’t f\*cking care i’d rather die homeless than leave my ethics. This social experiment led me to understand that Humans are flawed and they are very easy to fool even if they are experienced beings, people who are funded by one of the biggest venture capitalists in the world. Don’t ever feel insecure if you’re not getting funded maybe it’s about your soft skills and mindset more than just your technical skills. Just because you’re not being validated by one single successful person doesn’t mean you’re not valuable. You’re supposed to be valuable infront of masses because they are your target audience not a single person. Idolizing and seeking attention of one specific person is the worst thing you can do to be successful as per the societal norms. At the end of the day you’re meant to compete with your previous generation and not with your peers who had a totally different circumstances. Well enough yapping about the society, let’s just dive more into this thing I pulled off. [Raghav Sharma](https://x.com/Some1UKnow25) did a tweet mentioning that he joined openai and he has chatgpt in localhost. > finally joined OpenAI\ > having chatgpt in localhost is a privilege [pic.twitter.com/Dc6GtVIgl1](https://t.co/Dc6GtVIgl1) > > — Raghav (@Some1UKnow25) [June 29, 2025](https://twitter.com/Some1UKnow25/status/1939425405825695873?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [open on X](https://x.com/Some1UKnow25/status/1939425405825695873/) And well he got reach on that tweet and well I can get that reach too. Well i would like to call this systematic tweeting as **bandwagon reach** on twitter _(i just made that word up, because whenever there’s a specific theme trending you can just join the bandwagon and get extra reach)_ Then I was like let’s do something similar maybe with [Claude](https://claude.ai), I manually copied the frontend of claude and then ran it on localhost, > Finally joined [@AnthropicAI](https://twitter.com/AnthropicAI?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw)\ > \ > Having Claude in localhost:3000 is a privilege 🫡 [pic.twitter.com/SnEObgclNO](https://t.co/SnEObgclNO) > > — Arjun Aditya (@arjunaditya\_) [June 30, 2025](https://twitter.com/arjunaditya_/status/1939728482168430596?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [open on X](https://x.com/ArjunAditya_/status/1939728482168430596) --- Some days back when i was running [Gumroad](https://gumroad.com)’s open source code locally and it was not using localhost instead it was mapped to `gumroad.dev` so hmmm my goofy ahh brain thought I can do something with this mechanism. On a random morning I was like why not build a reverse proxy backend which maps a website to localhost, Then i went on to build a reverse proxy golang backend and Next.js Frontend to bait people. Before we start this i would like to give special thanks to [Raghav Sharma](https://x.com/Some1UKnow25), [Ayush Singh(shydev)](https://x.com/shydev69) and [Salfiya](https://x.com/traschcannot) for helping me with reach and emotional support. At first people believed that this is so real then someone said it’s downloaded html or i’m using wget or using /etc/hosts to map all the websites to localhost. I had to delete the tweet after 1.3M impressions and 1.8k followers because it got reported. > I’ve deleted my reverse proxy bait post\ > \ > Because seems like my replies are shadowbanned on twitter [pic.twitter.com/Fu05T3k4zr](https://t.co/Fu05T3k4zr) > > — Arjun Aditya (@arjunaditya\_) [July 9, 2025](https://twitter.com/arjunaditya_/status/1943049186154545319?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) [open on X](https://x.com/ArjunAditya_/status/1943049186154545319/) Example of one of the videos used in the tweet _(i made a thread of 20 videos in that tweet tagging those websites)_. \*ps: i use screen studio to record videos. ## Why did this go viral? Whenever we write a tweet we are supposed to consider that this tweet is going to be seen by a lot of people and not everyone has the same knowledge base inside their smoll brain or attention span to understand the tweet. After considering all that info we are supposed to simplify it so much that everyone can comprehend it. But again complex stuff gets attention if your target audience is geeks or wanna be geeks. **Reasons for Virality**: - **Simplicity** of the tweet - **Media Inclusion**(crazy boost when you use image + video) - **First 1 Hour**(5 Reposts from big accounts and 30 likes are enough to get the ball rolling if your tweet is goated) - **Lovable, V0 & Bolt are not enough for them**. _(no one will ever trust a cursor alternative as it’s too good already)_ - People need this product which can **replicate beautiful components** _(they hate the tag of vibe coded shadcn ui)_. - It was just very **unique + very unrealistic** _easy to trigger quotes & replies_. - **Tagging accounts** help the tweet reach to the followers of the tagged account _(personal experience)_ - **Big accounts liking your tweet** gets the tweet recommended to their followers. Personally, I think there’s a huge space in generating animated components with perfect color theory and [ux laws](https://lawsofux.com) using gsap and framer motion. ### The Public Composition Public composition is almost similar everywhere and if you can milk them then you can easily make it. ps: Haters also include people who maybe need a piece of your virality. People move on really fast but it takes time, fabricating and changing your public persona isn’t that hard even if you’re the worst person on this planet. ## Who Noticed - CTOs dm’d me to help them to improve their product. - People offered me money to sell access to the tool. - Two Founders tried to hire me. - Designers & Web Agencies. Considering I want to stay independent, I had to ditch all the offers. I should mention that there’s still room to serve customers with AI wrappers. AI products sell well, and despite high churn rates, you’re veryyy likely to generate at least thousand dollars in revenue. ALSO WHY TF IS THERE NO GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE BY AI WRAPPERS EXCEPT CURSOR? ## Technical Implementation #### API Integration The frontend makes HTTP requests to `http://localhost:8080/api/create-proxy?url={target}` which returns JSON containing the assigned port and localhost URL. The Go server handles these requests by spawning new proxy instances and returning the connection details for immediate use. #### Golang Backend The backend uses `httputil.NewSingleHostReverseProxy(targetURL)` to create dedicated reverse proxies for each target site. Each proxy runs in its own [goroutine](https://go.dev/tour/concurrency/1) on auto-allocated ports starting from 3001. It selectively rewrites URLs based on Content-Type headers - only HTML content (`text/html`) undergoes URL transformation while other content types (CSS, JS, images, JSON) pass through unchanged. The proxy performs bidirectional header manipulation by setting `r.Host = targetURL.Host` for outbound requests and rewriting `Location` headers in responses for proper redirect handling. All original headers are preserved by default, including Content-Type, Cache-Control, and Set-Cookie headers. The response modification pipeline reads HTML content, transforms external links to localhost addresses, and updates Content-Length accordingly. CORS headers are automatically enabled to allow frontend communication. #### Data Flow User submits URL → API call creates proxy → Go server spawns reverse proxy on available port → Returns localhost URL → User accesses proxied content through localhost while proxy fetches from original site behind the scenes. The architecture maintains thread-safety through mutex locks and provides real-time proxy creation with instant feedback. ps: this won’t bypass the auth because the origin is not localhost. I’ll open source the code if you guys are interested, but for that help this tweet reached 200 likes first. ## The End Results Got shadowbanned after a report after getting 1.8k Followers & 1.3M impressions. Well I got to know that you can just deactivate your account for 72 hours and then reactivate it and you’re good to go but most likely you’ll have to delete your tweet - request for a review _you’ll most likely get a notification for that_. Also you can always reach out to me on [X](https://x.com/ArjunAditya_) or at . --- ps: if i made any mistake you can @ArjunShips me on X. ps: images with drawings are from pinterest _not sure who’s the artist_ but you can always reverse image search using google image search, yandex image or even tineye (tineye is mid tho). Also just a random tip whenever you’re trying to find info don’t forget to check exif data but nowadays a lot of platforms just delete that data. [Previous Cool Tweets ](viral-tweets)[Next Maintaining Healthy Lifestyle](dealing-with-health-issues) --- # Maintaining Healthy Lifestyle > Dodging organ issues, lazyness and staying active. Well I’m going to keep this blog a little shorter but I’m a guy who observes himself a lot more than anyone. People may call me paranoid but I do tend to do some certain things so that I can stay intact mentally and physically. I don’t eat more than 1 roti in a meal, and if i do there’s a high likely chance of me being less energetic. My father is a great influence over my personality but of course no offspring can be 100% of their parent’s personality. But well some stuff like workaholic nature and working out came from my father because he has done wrestling (till he was 30), military training and police training. He’s 45 in this picture. I don’t really wanna get every single information out there about my father but well I started running because of him. Did combination of burpees and everything. As a programmer we want to spend a lot of our time just programming and building things right but again for some being healthy means having type 1 muscles but you can always be healthy and focus on type 2 muscles as well. My Routine for Working out is mainly just 2-4km running at 4:40 - 5:30 Pace, burpees with push ups, pull ups and chin ups. So why not gym? Whenever we are breaking our muscles down we need a lot of rest to repair them and brain energy to reach that endpoint. So your body focuses more on your muscles and maintaining good glucose levels and meanwhile on the other hand you’re likely to sleep more. Okay this is a personal choice but if you want to work 15 Hours a day just sleep 7-8 hours, run for 15 minutes and drink liquid a lot because it’s easier for our body to digest and ingest. But don’t consume stuff with sugar and specifically not artificial sugars. For me electrolytes, milk, some carbs, oats, quinoa and fruits matter the most in my diet. BTW EAT WATERMELON IN EVERY MEAL IF POSSIBLE IT’S GOOD FOR YOUR LIVER. Also I don’t eat oily food specifically from restaurants because I don’t trust them and i dont wanna kill my productivity by being sick. And if you’re ever sick go on a liquid diet, basically orange, pineapple juice or maybe bottle guard with lemon juice. Either way this is all personal choice but if you’re planning to ditch coffee and find an alternative. PLEASE DRINK WATER + LEMON. So A Good Combination of Everything like inclusion of sun exposure is nice (sunscreen is bad for your vitamin d production). I’ve tried sunscreen once but my perspective finds sunscreen useless. Combination of Vitamin D + Electrolytes + Good Food with Nice Vitamins + Healthy Liver (don’t consume artificial flavours and sugar) If you’re missing out on anything you’re very likely to go through a burn out (yes I mean there are other factors as well) or depression as well. Please read [Reflecting on my Mental Health & Burn Outs](http://localhost:4321/posts/mental-health-burn-outs) You’re supposed to consume food which makes you feel energetic and if you feel tired after eating something, just ditch that. Most likely it’s a glucose overload or something which is not being digested properly. ALSO IF YOU EVER GET A GLUCOSE SPIKE JUST HAVE PROTEIN IN ANY WAY OR FORM EGGS ARE THE BEST THOUGH IF ANY OF YOUR FRIENDS HAVE DIABETES THEY CAN HAVE EGGS DAILY AS THEY ARE GOOD FOR THEM. I used to get pimples whenever I did a cheat meal maybe something with sugar or something with artificial flavours. My dad uses an isolate whey protein without any flavours because that’s the best thing possible. He’s been gyming for 15 years and I would say you don’t require gym if you can do cardio and push ups.(He’s limited to running less than a kilometer because his knee still hurts from surgery he had after a skiing accident.) That’s enough for you as a programmer but if you wanna get big and jacked well drop programming bro. Staying healthy is easier if you don’t overeat. Be a Yogi. Also brush your teeth kids and don’t let anything get stuck there. It’ll take 5-6 days of your month which is very crucial for your future. EVERY SINGLE STEP MATTERS. Fitness is not about having muscles, it’s about making your blood and brain healthy. Your body is a vessel and if you eat bad you’re just ruining the thinking process all together, one of the reasons why people who suffer from financial issues are very likely to take bad decisions because it comes from the place of bad nutrition and workout which in short makes the person a bit mentally unstable. Being active and taking care of ourselves is basically just confidence booster which later equates to being mentally strong. [Previous Maintaining Healthy Lifestyle ](dealing-with-health-issues)[Next Reflecting on my Mental Health & Burn Outs](mental-health-burn-outs) --- # Reflecting on my Mental Health & Burn Outs > A Documented journey from 2023 - 2025, Working 12 hours everyday to Burn Out and Depression. Whenever a person goes into some mental distress, it’s mainly because of missing out on some important things in life. As per evolutionary biology, Humans are meant to fulfill some criterias to be a part of this society because to be social and validated to some extent for their efforts and contributions is needed to keep them sane and increase their chances of survival. Also equated to them feeling good about themselves + self love became a thing for them. Humans with good standing and pedestal were considered worthy in the eyes of others and got all the attention and love from the society. They got all the things a person desires in life, requited love, validation, respect, money, power, etc. Any Sane Human will share interests with others and they’re very likely to be mentally stable but if they don’t, They’re very likely to go through a bit rough time but as interestingly as it sounds, Internet made it pretty easy to find similar interests like sharing the love for cute anime girls for that stuff we have reddit and 4chan. Point being validation is the biggest need in life, _just my personal opinion_ But we can always refer everything to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs for that. People be like “humans used to panic when they had to run from a tiger, now they panic when someone leaves them on seen. we failed as species” I would like to mention that this is not called failing, we as humans are very much similar to our ancestors but our means and criterias just pivoted a lil bit. We’ve inherited almost everything from having the love for some specific food to having a type of person we’re attracted to. Btw, Just a random theory that if you’re attracted to a person, It’s also because that person is a replacement of your parent. For example, if you’re a guy attracted to a girl, It’s because that girl is a replacement of your mother and vice versa. I think this theory was mentioned by Sigmund Freud afaik. But according to societal standards, nobody thinks about having sex with their opposite sex parent, _referring to the Oedipus and Electra complexes_ I wrote a quote some months back, > “Humans are clueless and they think outrageous stuff and conclude it for no fricking reason, Everything is Symbolic” - [my archived ranting insta during my worst mental health state](https://www.instagram.com/arjunexpressed). --- Well let’s just talk about how does anyone get to the top of the pedestal? By going delusional, if they don’t have resources, they’ll just manipulate their brain into taking crazy risks. Mental state plays the biggest part in societal success because our brains are wired in a way to make decisions as per survival instincts. Insensitive people are very likely to take very rational decisions and emotionally unstable people tend to ruin everything and that’s the only bar which stops them to reach the top. A person who comes from a good economic background has a very high chance to generate exponential amount of wealth because how for them they are pretty confident and being confident about something. Delusion kept people above the average pedestal because they always maintained themselves optimistic and others were stuck in flight or fight mode. Being delusional is a privilege considering your background and life choices some don’t like taking the risk and some don’t like taking the responsibility. --- ### Impressing People I’m still very much into impressing people but I think you can never impress everybody, you can’t look cool or valuable to everyone because their experiences and situations made them to judge and opt in for survival mode for certain type of person. I used to help people for free because it made me feel more worthy & validated and somewhere in my mind i was a bit selfish about one thing that if i’m helping this person out, I’ll probably get something in return maybe emotionally or financially. But well people like me get exploited in this thing and wouldn’t really recommend this because it involves a lot of luck and if you’re not a lucky one you’ve successfully wasted a lot of your time. But again you’ll never be able to impress every single human being by doing something for them. The way there’s a stereotype about how a Haryanvi men fears Punjabi women and how Himachali Women love Punjabi men. And changing that societal stereotype takes time, if your identity is hated by someone it’s very rare for you to get validated by them. Some VCs heavily go after white founders, some go after Indian founders, some go after stanford dropouts and some go after people with neurodivergent backgrounds. Because that’s their preference and they are not wrong, they are just doing what they think is right. Just a person trying to feel safe because their survival instincts prefer that. I’ve always seeked validation from people I’ve looked upto and not being upto the mark in their eyes made me question my whole skill and capability. ### Failing at my first mvp (17yo) _2023 Dec - Jan 2024_ I was starting a startup called Codestake with two friends I met on discord, [Viraj Shah](https://www.linkedin.com/in/viraj-shah15/) and [Priti Roy](https://x.com/DevPriti1). The idea of codestake was basically mix of Hackathons, Algora & Superteam Earn(was suggested by amy), A place where a developer can make money either by serving bounties or by competing in hackathons. But as usual it was my first time working on an idea with people and them having expectations from me. I got overwhelmed and ended up ruining everything we had after a month because i was not able to fix an error and I was very insecure of asking for help but well after some time I compensated them with some money because I felt that they deserved it atleast for even giving a bit of their time. Going all in is nice but not staying chill pushes you into the burn out zone, I remember priti told me how playing games helped her mental health and burn outs _basically i ended up playing minecraft because macos :/_ Then later had to move on from Codestake. _A month later - basically february 2024_ Posted some stuff on a subreddit and met [LinearArray](https://www.reddit.com/user/LinearArray/) and then later moderators of very pretty big indian subreddits. Also met [Namish](https://namishh.me) and no he was not a moderator. Never applied to jobs as i suffer from severe imposter syndrome _i still do as of july 22,2025_ Well either way as i had some design & creative skills i ended up improving a big discord server and then later became an admin in just 11 days(basically i had the access to ban 4k members at once). Then later had a pretty big drama on the subreddit and got hate comments by atleast 1k people but well we move on again. All these reddit incidents happened in Jan - March 2024 Time Frame I don’t really like being stuck at one place so i just ditch and go for the bigger quest _love the word quest_. Moving on from things and pivoting is pretty doable for me as i was never really biased to just my thoughts, i don’t mind change. I was in [Sri Budda](https://www.linkedin.com/in/sri-budda/)’s discord server, Where I saw the ceo of [zerops](https://zerops.io) lurking and I ended up joining his server where i asked if they’re looking for a frontend developer in the channel then later he dm’d me about how they need a dev rel type of guy. I contributed a bit to zerops from april -> july for no compensation then later Ales(the founder) got notified that it’s my 18th birthday on 9th of july. He asked me if i would work at zerops then obviously it was a yes and he hired me with an intern role as they were low on funds and couldn’t hire me as full time because they’ll have to pay me more as per czechian laws. Helped [Zerops](https://zerops.io) with mainly user experience stuff and dev rel stuff. I really loved working there for the next 8-9 months then well ofcourse people get bored and me being me, a person who requires attention and validation. The team was not young considering most of them were above 28 as far as i know + some of them were just working with esops without any pay + had another jobs. > In November, I reached out to a friend at Notion if i could work at notion as an intern but well the relocation issue f’d up the whole plan. Which obviously made them pretty busy so giving me validation and attention to me was not their preference and i tend to go through a weird seasonal depression phase from january to march (in here we are currently talking about 2025 january time frame) Plus, I was seeking for extra income source + autonomy + validation, So well i tried and worked. Shipped a vs code extension in the end and then left Zerops. Let’s just keep the zerops part aside > Also to get customers on zerops, I used to sell ai wrappers on [flippa](https://flippa.com) for like $170 - $250 and then later get their website hosted on zerops. I was sucha validation wh\*re that i somehow got the chance to improve sahil lavingia’s personal website but my first intial PRs were rejected as they were pretty heavy + not very concise _\[january 2025]_. --- During january - march 2025 time frame, I used to go for runs everyday and walked at 11 am topless with my dad in an empty park _no i’m not insecure about my body but well i have abs + i had good amount of weight at that time_. Point to be noted as per me a person requires physical activeness when he feels worthless and when you’re losing apetite you need to workout so that you get the blood flowing everywhere. It helped me a bit and i forced myself to work everyday so that the zerops people don’t find me a burden and for that part i didn’t opt for the february compensation. Loading... Plus, I am never going to refer anyone to my workplace because i referred a guy to zerops in november and he didn’t do shit and at the end \~ It turned out to be pretty embarassing for me even though the founder didn’t really blame me. So that was a bit of L on my behalf because he got in without any interview because i asked the founder to hire him. either way let’s keep all this aside It was may 2025, I was thinking of leaving zerops but somehow a guy named divit rana reached out to me that they are hiring a guy at radical health but i was like i’m not the right person to hire but he still insisted me to take the interview and this story went a bit too crazy. Also i was friends with one of their employees and he mentioned it’s basically a services startup and it’s fine you’ll get in easily. But i wanted to try this interview for fun I get on the interview(no it was not technical, the ceo commited bad code using cursor) but we talked and he asked me some very personal questions + as i was at my lowest and some of his questions go like: - Him: What are you proud of? - Me: Nothing to be honest, I’ve not done anything which makes me feel proud - Him: How was your childhood - Me: explaining how i didn’t have friends and stuff - Him: Were you understood by your teachers and parents - Me: I don’t think so _ps: divit guy was in the call as well but the founder was interviewing me_ The biggest problem was i was not even looking for a job and not even interested because i was so fookin’ drained. But the founder did make me hate the whole bengali community. I would still say my personality is very complex because i can’t comprehend and explain myself sometimes and the founder of radical health also mentioned how he can’t comprehend my personality. One of the lines i repeated infront of him was “I’m the not the prententious one or someone who’s fake”. Well either way we later talked about tea leaves and their competitors because selling tea leaves is my side plan if tech industry pushes me out. I felt a bit bad that i’ve successfully self sabotaged myself by fuking up this job which could’ve paid me 32LPA. BUT I WAS FREE The point being, I was not good at selling myself nor was it my intention _i’m trying to get better at it now_. fun fact: I still don’t have a resume pdf. BTW I WAS REJECTED BY THE FOUNDER BECAUSE HE DIDN’T LIKE MY PERSONALITY HEHEHEH AND LATER I MILKED THE WHOLE SITUATION AHHAHAHAH > I'll be joining a google meet with this background today\ > \ > All hail arpit bala in corner. [pic.twitter.com/QcpRnJwNGP](https://t.co/QcpRnJwNGP) > > — Arjun Aditya (@arjunaditya\_) [May 3, 2025](https://twitter.com/arjunaditya_/status/1918570256945299845?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw) > [Used this background in an Interview (G Meet)](https://www.reddit.com/r/Btechtards/comments/1kdu4oh/used_this_background_in_an_interview_g_meet/) > > by [u/WeirdKiddo73](https://www.reddit.com/user/WeirdKiddo73/) in [r/Btechtards](https://www.reddit.com/r/Btechtards/) --- But i’ve realized one thing in my life that if i’m not desperate for something too badly or i ditch a job, i’ll get a way better opportunities if i’m working hard. After A Week, I was talking to [Pranshu Gupta](https://x.com/pranshgupta54) and I was like i’m leaving zerops and yada yada yada. He was like why not work at my workplace I was like hmmm i’m not sure i’m capable of that _imposter syndrome triggered_. I WAS NOT READY TO FACE ANOTHER REJECTION AGAINNN but well he was like we don’t really waste time on interviews that much just an onboarding call but then well i was very scared to face the founder. Well the founder of the company where pranshu works scheduled the meet and then after contemplating for hours. I ended up texting pranshu saying smthg like Pranshu also told me how he reffered a person who didn’t do shit and he got fired _he’s pretty famous on indian tpot btw_ That guy was busy with hackathons LOL. --- ### So What’s actually wrong with me??? - No Creative Outlet - Autonomy of Product - Validation - Pointless Work in my Eyes - No Public Audience to Cater - Financial Needs - Getting Attached to People / Companies - Going all in even though it’s not compensating me enough - Not playing games - Having Less Funsies PLUS I LOVE TALKING AND EXPRESSING MY THOUGHTS WHEN I’M NOT DEPRESSED -\~\~ _THAT RADICAL HEALTH’S FOUNDER ALMOST MADE ME CRI WHEN I WAS QUESTIONED ABOUT MY CHILDHOOD SO YEA_ I’m good with keeping my body healthy though so not sad about that part as most programmers suffer from issues because MOST OF THEM ARE SUCH DUMBASSES WITH NO SENSES Loading... Made this while being on a call with a judgemental acquaintance in march. Being responsible is pretty much the hardest part and i’ve tried my best whenever i worked with someone but now i ditch people right away whenever i feel like they are not good for me. Some People fold and some just keep on going. SO FOR NOW I’M BUILDING MY OWN THINGS BUT IF I EVER GET A CHANCE TO WORK SOMEWHERE I’D LOVE TO WORK FOR A TECH + MARKETING ROLE. I’VE BEEN EXPLOITED BUT NOT ANYMORE - ALSO I HATE IITians and people who question someone’s capabilities. I would say one thing though, you can never know if someone properly in an interview you’ll need to spend atleast 2-3 days and see their work culture to actually understand and comprehend their brain process. ### Wrap Up / Observations / Introspection So hmmm the wrap up, personally what i think about this whole thing happened and how i’ve questioned everything and ditched interviews _recently ditched my interview_ with [aiden bai](https://aiden.mov)’s [same.dev company](https://same.dev). I’ll try to figure out how to get over it but personally i’ll try to just build more of my things and cater more to people and get some public validation and help people with growth and marketing. Thanks for reading this journal. [Previous Reflecting on my Mental Health & Burn Outs ](mental-health-burn-outs)[Next The Internet Customer](the-internet-customer) --- # The Internet Customer > A Raw Thesis about Blockage in the Customer Experience Pipeline. The Circle of Consumption via Interaction. Started my journey with helping people without any judgement especially my close friends who are non techy and ofcourse it also comes down to how my parents are a bit fluent with internet but whenever they need some help i tend to not judge them and say “it’s so easy or just search it up on google”. We are supposed to be accepting of the fact that not everyone knows how to use the internet. Even my neighbors treat me as if i’m the best techie person in this world so whenever they are stuck with something they give me a call. Whenever you’re supposed to help somebody out you’re not supposed to demean someone or make them look like a dumbo Act like a gentle mother when you’re catering a customer and helping them out you’re supposed to make them feel accepted so that they feel like a part of this product and they matter which they do unless until they are toxic themselves, you need to handle them nicely though. Passive Aggression is the worst possible thing to do even if the person is being rude. And If we are talking about the B2B Space I have served customers and helped onboard atleast 100-150 customers even as an intern dev rel guy at [Zerops](https://zerops.io/) in a span of 12 months and most of them were technical but again even if i left it. It’s still the best product for me but it’s ui confuses a lot of americans and asian people. Most of the time videos do help you to get more conversions but not everyone watches a video if it’s long maybe make short ones which is concise and posting long videos on twitter is not the best way to showcase but youtube can be the right one. Some [Tweet Examples](https://archived.arjunaditya.xyz/posts/viral-tweets) and for good videos i think you should watch [leerob](https://www.youtube.com/@leerob) or [delba](https://www.youtube.com/@Delba). At the same time Vercel’s user interface is very straightforward and this platform has onboarded so many non technical people that it’s so easy to use. Vercel Templates is a very good place for newbie devs to find stuff and just deploy it so majority of vercel users are pretty young compared to vps or other PaaS. A lot of my non techie people have their websites on vercel because the amount of tutorials and demos that platform has is the best possible reason to get more people on-board. People love that platform so much that they wanted to deploy their backends and discord bots as well but vercel doesn’t facilitate those features. One of the best features provided by Next.js is 100s of Templates in almost everything not just nextjs but other frameworks with very really nice underrated integrations. Also just my speculation but netlify failed because of two reasons which were bad design + not enough content out there for it. Most of the time it’s just them sponsoring companies which doesn’t really help imo. If you want to grow a product and reach people you need to create as many as short screen recordings(this is good for basic stuff), demos with audios(complexity) and docs are the last resort as they basically serve as the context for large language models. Lot of people stopped reading documentations as of now all they do is just paste the link to [context7](https://context7.com). LLMs are not the solution to every single customer query though but if we consider tech startups then llms can help 90% users if they have a nice documentation + context to the agent + a nice chatbot with long term and short term memory. For that I’m looking into Building Coldran to serve people. --- ### How does an Internet Customer Surfs? ps: this is mainly for tech b2b companies because that’s what i know the best - Customer goes to the website, they check if it’s polished and concise (they don’t care about your futuristic ui pls). - Customer scrolls below and checks if this company has a discord community and social media. - They watch the videos if there are any on the homepage. - They go on youtube or reddit to check about this platform. - They ask their friends if they have any. - They register, do they find the dashboard nice or not? if they don’t then they never pay. - If they like the dashboard, they’ll never leave even if they encounter an error after a week of using it. - Design Shows Care & Value even though the product provides very little value. Old people don’t care about community but they do care about if they have a good social media presence + videos. Old people also love to email a lot because they wanna be seen or maybe just slack, New Generation refrains to mail because they find it long instead they use discord. Some attention wh\*res also love tagging on twitter but it’s not so bad, just being honest it’ll just help the product get more reach even if the tweet has bad negative connotation. **How do you mentally soothe them?** - Beautiful Minimal Design with important concise details only(best example is [basecamp](https://basecamp.com/)). - Illusion of control, certainty, and familiarity - Be Playful & Funny (Memes Help you grow) Let’s suppose the Customer says: - **Id**: I want resolution now. - **Ego**: I’ll wait if I feel heard. - **Superego**: I want to be a “good” customer. **The ego**: “Thanks for your patience, we’re working on it.” **The superego**: “Your feedback helps us improve the system for others.” --- **The Zeigarnik Effect** A ticket left unresolved creates cognitive tension. - If you just say “We’ll get back to you,” that tension spikes. - If you say: “We’ll reply by 3 PM Friday” it closes the loop mentally. **The Parasocial Relationship** _(avg influencer fanboy)_ People bond with faces, names, and tone even in digital interactions. - Add a name to your bot (e.g., “Helloo! I’m Arjun I’d love to know what you’re facing). - Add a face and a nice bio _(human touch)_. - Add a story (“I’ll stay with you till this is solved and let me know if you want to hop on a call”). ps: you’re calming their evolved human brain with personhood, not just protocol. Give some freebies if your resolution takes a lot of time. You’re responsible for them not them. ALSO DON’T BE DRY PLEASE, NOT EVERYONE IS DEAD EUROPEAN WHO CAN’T EVEN SAY “Helloo” pls don’t use “Hi”. **So how do you serve the customers want?** _(treat them as humans bro)_ If you have a bug then well fix it and if it’s related to other stuff about how a person can understand the product usage. - **First Resort**: Demo Videos over Textual Data(the attention span is dropping crazy) - **Second Resort**: Customer AI Agent - **Third Resort**: Human Attention via Text - **Fourth Resort**: Video Calls with Screen Recording which matches their time zone. --- ### How Design Changes the Behavior Whenever you’re building a product you have to consider that every person has face different problems everyday maybe from color blindness, attention span and language barrier(eg. english as second lang). You should deep research about your target audience and then create a unified product design with concise information not just because you like it. Users see everything differently so you do need feedback if they understand the whole product in 3-4s. My Best Favorite Products which are concise: [Basecamp](https://basecamp.com), [Notion](https://www.notion.com), [Chatbase](https://www.chatbase.co), [Ghost](https://ghost.org), [Mintlify](https://mintlify.com), [Realm](https://www.withrealm.com) and [Incident](https://incident.io) Also watch videos by [Phoebe Yu](https://phoebeyu.co) about How Design Changes. Also [Laws of Ux](https://lawsofux.com) is a good read. --- ### Current Support Issues I’ve seen a lot of people don’t reply to discord messages in channel, late email replies we are supposed to have sales and customer relationship people more than just developers even if you’re a tech startup having just ai is not good enough for some issues but again. Most of them ask people to use different channels to open ticket when ticket channel is supposed to be the I’m working on Coldran to help companies interact better and faster while also understanding customer problems better. Most of the companies suffer from problems like time zone issue and when a person with a different time zone hops in they tend to fail at serving. Hire people from every continent please. The Only Way Software can eat the world is by having the patience to educate others about how to utilize. Without no Judgement. Be Their Friend Please(and if you can’t you’re going to fail to serve 30-40% of your potential users.) The Best Customer Service I’ve seen is by [Astro](https://astro.build), [Zerops](https://zerops.io), [Ghost](https://ghost.org) and [Polar](https://polar.sh). The Zerops CEO and CTO whenever they are awake they reply in max 1-2 minutes or even seconds. But yes people are suffering from time zone issues. The worst so far for me has been [Same.dev](https://same.dev), I’d love to improve it though I have some ideas. Recently I scraped discord messages from same’s discord server and asked chatgpt with deep research mode to help me find the top 50 complaints here’s the [chat](https://chatgpt.com/share/688c3afb-d0e8-800d-a133-050cba74f311).
